Access to the Arts

Access to the Arts allows students attending classes through the  Orange County Department of Education  ACCESS program at Academic Center of Tustin, to earn credits while learning the basics of art and composition. Through this program they are exposed to famous artists and art movements in the classroom and on field trips.  Students explore the world of art using pencil, markers, collage, clay, watercolor and acrylic paints.  One of the projects requires the students to complete different sections of the same painting.  The individual sections are then combined into one large painting which is displayed at the Tustin Senior Center in late April.  Below is their version of Van Gogh’s “Wheatfield with Crows”.
