Public Art

Art, in and of itself, adds beauty to any location. When the art is the creation of two of Tustin’s up and coming artists, and it covers an unsightly traffic signal box, it is a thing of joy!  When TACFA was approached to participate in the City of Tustin and Tustin’s Public Art Committee’s signal box art project, we jumped at the chance.  The signal box project lined up so perfectly with TACFA’s goal to bring public art to Tustin that we commissioned two pieces of public art.

Both beautifully created vinyl-wrapped signal boxes can be seen in old town Tustin. The box located at the corner of First and B Streets (Peppertree Park) was created by  Charles M. Chua, a 2021 graduate of Tustin High School. The artwork of Ivanna Tjitra, Beckman HS Class of 2021, is featured at the corner of El Camino Real and Sixth Street.
