Each year the Southern California Philharmonic holds a competition to select young vocal and instrumental soloists to perform at their Young Artist Showcase Concerts. Winners are selected from each of the three competing age groups: 1 to 12, 13 to 17, and 18 to 23

In addition to performing with the Southern California Philharmonic, under the direction of Branden Muresan, the competition winners will receive a modest scholarship to help them pursue their musical studies.
