please email vpBITP@tacfa.org
or call 714.518.5519.
Volunteer Positions Available for Broadway in the
Park
Steering Committee
Volunteers are needed to support the steering committee
with planning, distribution of event publicity prior to the event,
and post- event clean up of the park
Ticket Sellers
Ticket Sellers are responsible for selling tickets
at either B or C Street entrances to Peppertree Park. They arrive
an hour before the box office opens and stay on their sites for
30 minutes after the program begins in order to take care of possible
late arrivals.
Ticket Takers, Hand Stampers, Programs
These volunteers greet people who are attending the
program, and they either take tickets, stamp hands, or hand out
programs. They monitor the gates at all times in groups of two,
coordinating with the other volunteers for breaks.
Bartenders
Bartenders serve beer and wine from the TACFA bar
before the show begins and during intermission. They stock the bar
for the evening from provided coolers and return coolers to the
Senior Center after the program.
Opportunity Ticket Sellers
These volunteers sell tickets to the audience for
raffled prizes. They mingle with the crowd before the show begins
and complete their sales before curtain time.
Ushers
Ushers help seat people in the proper sections. They
ensure that the audience members can find seating and check that
chairs and blankets are in the correct locations. Ushers also escort
those needing help to find their way to food booths and restrooms.
Craft Helpers
Craft helpers help children with craft projects.
They set up the craft work tables, organize the craft supplies,
keep the area organized, and straighten up the area when finished.
Pre-Event Park Monitoring
Volunteers are needed to provide park monitoring during
daytime hours to prevent any unauthorized access to the event equipment
and stage area.
The Muses Guild
TACFA’s wonderful “Muses” have been
a cherished cadre of devoted members who have been exceptional donors
and volunteers through the years. To better address all TACFA
supporters and to augment our volunteers, this year we decided not
to separate the Muses as an independent auxiliary, but to add them
to the full complement of TACFA supporters. We are grateful to all
those who have been loyal Muses, and we know you will continue your
generous support of TACFA and our programs.
