TACFA Is Looking for a Few Good People
The Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts (TACFA) is seeking applicants from the greater Tustin area (Tustin, Orange, Villa Park, Santa Ana, Irvine, and unincorporated) who would like to be members of its dynamic and hard-working Board of Directors in 2009. TACFA is known for its many art programs that serve the community, especially its summer signature piece, Broadway in the Park.
Applicants will be selected for board membership based on their time availability, interest in the arts, and desire for community involvement, among other criteria. Because the Board of Directors is limited in size, not all who apply will be selected for membership this year. But Diane Aust, current TACFA president, said, “We encourage all who are interested to apply. We want to broaden our member base and are eager to meet those in the wider community who would like to participate in our programs. We need men and women willing to contribute time, talent, and energy to our organization’s varied services.”
