Anything Goes is Coming to Town

The Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts is selling tickets for its 9th annual Broadway in the Park production, Anything Goes. Performances are scheduled every evening August 18 through August 22 at Peppertree Park in Old Town Tustin.

This is family entertainment suitable for all ages. Audience members will enjoy such Cole Porter song favorites as “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” and, of course, “Anything Goes.” while picnicking on the grass or at a reserved table. Audience members can bring their own food or purchase dinner in the park. This year, Tustin restaurants Rutabegorz and Beach Pit BBQ will be offering a variety of dinner selections at reasonable prices. Local non-profit groups will also be selling snack foods from their own booths.

Tickets are on sale at the following Tustin locations:
Acorn Naturalists 155 El Camino Rea
Chemers Art Gallery 17300 E. 17th Street
City of Tustin Parks and Recreation 300 Centennial Way
Mrs B’s Consignments 115 W. Main Street
Old Town Flooring 160 E. Main Street
Scooter’s Stationers 1100 Irvine Blvd
Soul at Home 17612 E. 17th Street
Tustin Senior Center 200 S. C Street

Look for the counter card displaying the Anything Goes logo to buy tickets for this event.

Tickets may also be purchased at the TACFA booth at the City of Tustin’s Concerts in the Park, every Wednesday evening from June 24 until August 12. Early ticket purchases are discounted and cost less than tickets purchased at the gate, and ticket prices will remain the same as last year’s prices, in spite of rising costs.

TACFA’s annual Broadway in the Park draws the Tustin community together to enjoy quality family entertainment for reasonable prices. This year’s production would not be possible without the generous support of these major sponsors: The Pankey Foundation, The Alberta Kimball Foundation, North Tustin Veterinary Clinic, and Ralphs. Contributions from other individuals, businesses, and corporations in all amounts are very important in bringing this event to the community.

Information about tickets and reserved tables can be found at www.tacfa.org.

TACFA is a philanthropic organization dedicated to developing and fostering the arts in the greater Tustin area through school outreach programs, scholarships for art education, support and showcasing of local artists, and Broadway in the Park. For more information on TACFA, see www.tacfa.org.
