TACFA Selects 2009 Board
The Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts (TACFA) has selected its 2009 Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
This year’s Executive Committee consists of President, Diane Aust; First Vice President Programs, Susan Dobak; Vice President Fund Development, Barbara Foster; Vice President Broadway in the Park, Bob Machado; Vice President, Communications, Mary Kauffman; Secretary, Sharyn Sakimoto; Treasurer, Bonny Atzeff; and Parliamentarian, Linda Jennings. This year TACFA actively recruited new members from the larger Tustin area, and Nancy Ivary, Susan Legome, Ted Leib, Marion Snowden, Leslie Stansbury, and Kathy Tarrant were chosen to complete the Board of Directors. Besides the members of the Executive Committee, returning board members include Jonathan Abelove, Bill Amneus, Lynda Bjoin, Libby Buckley, Bob Casey, Rita Chemers, Patti Di Saia, Ginny Espenship, Sharon Frazier, Wendy Greene, Eligia Nicolai, Vanessa Osborne, Priya Rao, and Arlene Simmons. TACFA’s Advisory Committee consists of Richard Bray, Doug Davert, Mark Eliot, Bill Moses, and Janice Smith.
President Aust said, “Our board represents a pool of diverse but complementary talents from the greater Tustin community. We are fortunate to have so many individuals with unique skills to contribute to the cultural mission of TACFA in Tustin.”
TACFA is a philanthropic
organization dedicated to developing and fostering the arts in the
greater Tustin area through school outreach programs, scholarships
for art education, support and showcasing of local artists, and
